Notification of new version of CCleaner

Using CCleaner with Windows 8.1 I an receiving Notifications telling me that a new version of CCleaner is available.I have not clicked on this box as it looks dodgy and there is no Version number quoted.I then check on CCleaner and told that I have the latest version.

Does anyone know if this is a known piece of malware or a bug within CCleaner?Can it be removed.

Please note I am non technical so a simple solution best.
