CCleaner doesn't detect invalid .NET COM components like it does for normal COM components.
For .NET COM Interop, the value of the data in the (Default) registry key will be "mscoree.dll". If this value is detected then CCleaner should look at the "CodeBase" value to get the URI to the file. If this file no longer exists then the registry keys should be cleaned like any other COM key.
Let me know if you have any questions or need further details.
For background, I am evaluating CCleaner for my company (we are a software company) and COM clean-up is one of the major things we are evaluating.
